I love seeing before and afters in any project.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed reviewing them.

 Ahhhh.  Exactly what I envisioned.

  1. Again, amazing. I cannot believe what you turned that place into! It’s beautiful and makes me want to sell my house and live smaller. Is that possible when I only have about 1200 square feet finished??? Can’t wait to see more fun stuff on your blog, and glad you enjoy our blog too!

  2. Wow! so nice, I love all the re dos of all the mobile homes.

I love the vintage travel trailers, and tiny houses on wheels But I always loved old vintage mobile homes also. I just never could find any other folks that thought the same way, Your blog has inspired me so much! thanks

  3. Just found your blog. Thank you so much! These amazing befores (oh, my) and afters (WOW!!) give me a boost in “the hunt” for a home, and give me hope that what I need to consider–horrendous, but affordable–with sweat equity truly can become something I’ll love–affordable, comfortable, and beautiful!

    • Thank you! That trim was already in my trailer – we just painted over it. But I believe it is just a small crown molding that you could pick up at the hardware store.

      • wait can you give me in detail how this was done i see the before loving room picture and the after and i love the indenting look just dont understand how i could do that

      • Hello! This was done my friend Tanille, and her husband James. I’m not sure of the details on how they accomplished the recessed ceiling. You could probably find help on youtube or even local department stores. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

  4. Do you have any historical information on your Mayflower? My brother-in-law lives in one at the ranch that he works at and it’s in a sad state. We’re thinking of buying it and restoring it to her former glory but haven’t been able to locate any information on this particular brand of trailers. I haven’t come across another Mayflower in all of my research until I saw yours on the Mobile Home Living site. His model has the same features as yours except his kitchen is in the front.
