Western New York – Part 2

Posted by Rebecca

“Straddling the Canadian-United States International Border and both in the Province of Ontario and the State of New York, Niagara Falls attracts some 12 Million tourists to her majestic awesome beauty each year.  One fifth of all the fresh water in the world lies in the four Upper Great Lakes – Michigan, Huron,Superior and Erie. All the outflow empties into the Niagara river and eventually cascades over the falls.”  – Facts about Niagara Falls.

I have seen Niagara Falls from Canada a few times.  Most recently on a trip in February 2010, seen here in the first two photos.

American Falls

Horseshoe Falls

The Falls are amazingly majestic.  The power they produce is awesome, and their beauty is breathtaking.  Kara had never seen the Falls before, so we made a quick trip before taking her to the airport.

See, we really were there!

And one last photo of a lovely old building at sunset, in Buffalo, NY.
